About The Position

The Director of Pillar Projects at the Dalio Family Office will support the Head of Estate & Tax Planning by managing various projects, budgets, and timelines. This role is crucial for ensuring the success of the pillar's initiatives and requires strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. The director will act as a business manager, facilitating communication and collaboration among stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of project management experience, including successful completion of multiple medium/large projects concurrently.
  • Experience managing and supporting departmental budgets and timelines.
  • Experience in risk management, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Project Management Certification such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) highly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project management software like Monday.com or Asana.
  • Goal orientation with the ability to distill broad information into actionable plans.
  • Ability to manage project documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple Tax and Estate Planning projects, overseeing project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Synthesize project status and create/update project reporting.
  • Communicate closely with internal and external attorneys and accountants.
  • Partner with the Pillar Head to identify and solve gaps in workflow management.
  • Support the pillar by managing operations, determining and tracking priorities, and reporting to management.
  • Hold senior and junior stakeholders accountable for their roles and responsibilities.
  • Identify, resolve, and escalate issues, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
  • Ensure projects adhere to traditional project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Drive effective communication regarding the activities of the pillar.
  • Report and execute on key performance indicators cross-functionally and to leadership.
