Job Summary The Director of Pharmacy is a leadership role that includes direct patient care responsibilities as a pharmacy provider working for Uptown Community Health Center (UCHC), and administrative responsibilities for UCHC. This full-time position has a flexible balance of direct patient care and administrative duties that span across multiple clinical sites for UCHC, with the overall responsibility to provide leadership and oversight to all ongoing pharmacy services for the organization, which might include 340B Drug Pricing Program, Clinic Administered Medication compliance, establishing and growing an entity owned pharmacy. The Director of Pharmacy is expected to function as a subject matter expert (SME) on pharmacy services, both to direct patient care providers and associates as well as executive leadership. The Pharmacy Director must be a positive example of all clinical, regulatory, professional, and human resources expectations of UCHC. This includes being a role model of Uptown Community Health Center Service Behaviors and Patient-Centered Medical Home philosophy to enable the medical staff to consistently follow and display these concepts.
