About The Position

The Director of Permanency Services at EmberHope Youthville is responsible for overseeing and directing the Permanency Services team, ensuring that safe, timely, and quality services are delivered to at-risk youth and families. This role emphasizes a trauma-informed approach, collaboration with various stakeholders, and compliance with policies and contract requirements. The director will also facilitate continuous performance improvement and manage the department's budget effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Current licensure in the field of study (LMSW, LSCSW, LMFT, LCMFT, LMLP, LPC, LCPC).
• At least 3 years of work experience with child assessment and treatment, including children and adolescents with SED.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must pass a background check, fingerprinting, and physical and drug screening.

• Experience in a mental health or child welfare setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a trauma-informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and those served.
• Direct and supervise Team Supervisors for the Permanency Services to ensure quality services are delivered.
• Provide direct supervision and support of supervisees utilizing the Company's model for supervision.
• Ensure service providers are responsive to children, families, DCF, courts, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with DCF and participate in policy formulation and audits.
• Ensure services meet projected contract expectations and outcomes.
• Facilitate continuous performance improvement processes.
• Monitor the usage of financial resources to meet the budget.
• Support compliance with policies, contract requirements, and accreditation standards.
• Oversee quality assurance, utilization review, and performance improvement functions.
