About The Position

The Director of Patient Services, Oncology at PharmaCord is responsible for developing and implementing innovative service solutions that enhance patient access to oncology treatments. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize HUB services, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving operational efficiencies. The director will manage a portfolio of clients, oversee a large team, and play a key role in business development and client relationship management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in health sciences, business, public health administration, or social services; master's or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 - 7+ years' experience in healthcare patient services with a focus on growing services through innovation and value.
  • Knowledge of the specialty pharmaceutical and biotech marketplace and commercialization of products.
  • 2+ years' experience with Oncology products/programs.
  • Experience managing large teams of 50+ including managers and supervisors.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in biopharma specialty product management.
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement processes and specialty pharmacy coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Develop market access and commercialization strategies using market research of the payer/provider landscape and healthcare reimbursement trends.
  • Work with internal teams and prospective clients to develop solutions addressing product/program unmet needs.
  • Lead research around products, competitors, and current offerings.
  • Analyze product needs and client goals to develop proposed solutions, considering risks, opportunities, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, or RFP responses in support of proposed solutions.
  • Participate in meetings with prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Pharmacy, and other stakeholders to develop solutions and meaningful service levels (KPIs/SLAs).
  • Participate in the implementation of new clients and services to ensure compliance with PharmaCord's transition guarantee.
  • Monitor client portfolio to ensure ongoing value and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Evaluate operational processes for efficiencies and provide recommendations for leveraging technology and people.
  • Maintain an onsite presence to manage accounts and develop relationships.
  • Train and develop internal staff, serving as a leader and mentor.
