Director of Outpatient Services

About the position

The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the clinical oversight for all outpatient therapy services to include onsite and telehealth outpatient programming. The Director manages all activities involving outpatient referrals from initial call through completion of treatment plans, coordinating caseloads, developing and managing the outpatient staff, and marketing the program. The goal for this position is to maximize referral potentials from assigned accounts and develop new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the Business Development department.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight for all outpatient therapy services.
• Manage outpatient referrals from initial call through completion of treatment plans.
• Coordinate caseloads and develop outpatient staff.
• Market the outpatient program to maximize referral potentials.
• Develop new business to achieve the goals of the Business Development department.

Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited university in social work, counseling, psychology, or another mental health related field.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
• Minimum licensure LPC, LMSW, or LMFT in Texas required.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agencies' regulations, patient rights standards, and applicable federal and state laws regulating mental health care facilities preferred.
• CPR and Handle With Care training must be completed before providing direct care services.
