About The Position

The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for establishing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures, goals, objectives and standards that will improve the day-to day operations. Reviews overall hospital quality performance goals and ensures objectives are met. This includes personnel oversight, providing on-going Quality Improvement monitors, ensuring current standards are met and ensuring that the skills and educational needs of the staff are met. The Director is responsible for the quality of patient care. The Director ensures that safe patient care is provided by qualified, competent, patient care staff to all patients who present to the clinics. Ridgeview Institute has been a staple in the state of Georgia and nationwide for the treatment of both addiction and behavioral health for over 40 years. We provide a comprehensive continuum of mental health and substance abuse treatment services based upon a commitment to excellence and quality care to patients and their loved ones. Located on a 37-acre wooded campus in Smyrna, GA, on the outskirts of Atlanta, Ridgeview Institute provides a safe, caring environment with Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers, Counselors, Activity Therapists, and Mental Health Technicians. Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Work Education, Nursing or a related professional field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in health care administration, preferably in an acute psychiatric setting.
  • A thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations and state and federal regulatory standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Georgia State license in social work or clinical related mental health field. MSW, APC, LPC and LCSW preferred.
