About The Position

This is a dynamic position that will support outpatient, Opioid Treatment Program, and CBHC clinical services in the Brockton, New Bedford and Plymouth areas. The role will support clinical leadership across the three main multi-service site locations and participating in the growth of organizational goals with expanding services. The position will report directly to the COO and work collaboratively with site leadership on quality improvement and standardization of clinical services. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Requirements

  • Certification in the HPTC approved de-escalation program
  • Strong and effective verbal, written and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPTC`s electronic medical records
  • Ability to provide leadership and program development within an outpatient site
  • Knowledge of major clinical therapeutic models and behavioral health best practice
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independently licensed Behavioral Health Clinician, including: LICSW/LMHC/LMFT/ LADC 1
  • Master/Doctoral degree in Human Services related field such as psychology or social work.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical supervisory experience and five (5) years of behavioral health counseling experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement goals and objectives for the program to meet performance specifications
  • Ensure oversight of CBHC/BHUC/regulatory, including BSAS performance specifications related to management of clinical service delivery
  • Development of in-service training for staff in collaboration with training coordinators
  • Establishment of quality management program in collaboration with Director of CQI/ COO and quality team
  • Implement and review policies and procedure on a regular basis
  • Ensure that clinical activities are carried out in accordance with HPTC’s written plans for quality assurance, utilization review/management and staff growth and development
  • Provide supervision to identified program staff and maintain supervisory notes
  • Provide direct services to patients, which will include but not limited to evaluations of patients, individual, group and/or family counseling, crisis management, and aftercare planning in the event of clinical program coverage
  • Participate on assigned committees and prepare reports as needed
  • Coordinate with other departments/facilities to enhance and ensure quality care
  • Routinely review patient charts (open and closed) to ensure that the structure and substance are in accordance with licensing and accreditations standards
  • Participate in RFR processes to maintain current programing and development new programming
  • Preparation of reports and correspondence in response to licensing and accreditation boards
  • Collaborate and participate in meetings with other community organizations to enhance communication and service delivery within the community
  • Insures confidentiality according to 42 CFR part 2 and HIPAA regulations
  • Other duties as assigned by the Program Director, Site Director and/or COO
  • Directly supervise the Clinical Director’s at the High Point OTP Programs for clinical service delivery
  • Support OTP clinical program oversight in the absence of a Clinical Director
  • Participates in overseeing emergency and non-emergency termination and compliance with hearing procedures in absence of Program Administrator (OTP)
  • Participate Multidisciplinary Treatment Team to provide feedback on quality care and clinical oversight
  • Collaboration with Clinical Leadership from the Outpatient & OTP Programs to develop clinical standards of care across the multiple locations
  • Monitoring of clinical compliance and auditing of dashboards and charts
  • Clinical Program development to develop standardization in curriculum for group models of care, implementation of Evidence Based Practices, Quality Documentation Standards
  • Obtain and maintain certification as a CPI Instructor to support CPI training for Outpatient/Community and DMH licensed programs
  • Develop training on quality documentation and standards of care
  • Develop training related to licensing and accreditation responses
  • Training programs as requested based on the needs of the program
  • Liaison Support program leadership at the various sites with quality monitoring, dashboard support, and mock tracer chart audits
  • Develop and facilitate Performance Improvement Projects, CQI Initiatives, NIATx model rapid change projects
  • Support programs with state directed quality monitoring
  • Support of productivity quality improvement
  • Attend assigned meetings with state representation, stakeholders, and provider organizations
  • Facilitate monthly meeting with clinical leadership to support standardized care practices, quality discussion and clinical strategic planning
  • Facilitate all meetings, case conferences and trainings as assigned
  • Collaborate and participate in meetings with other community organizations to enhance communication and service delivery within the community
