About The Position

The Director of Outlets is responsible for overseeing the management and direction of restaurant operations in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards. This role includes ensuring food quality, interacting with guests for feedback, and maintaining compliance with sanitation and safety standards. The Director will also resolve guest complaints, check equipment functionality, document inventory, and participate in marketing efforts for the restaurants. The position requires adherence to sustainability guidelines and safe work practices.

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 3-6 years restaurant experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates.
  • Ensure food quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications.
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
  • Resolve guest complaints and coordinate with other department leaders.
  • Check that all equipment is in working order.
  • Follow up on work orders for timely repairs and maintenance.
  • Document inventory forecast usage and monitor supply.
  • Abide by all state, federal and corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Oversee serving staff to ensure proper liquor controls and cash handling policies.
  • Comply with accounting policies for SOX compliance.
  • Participate in marketing efforts, create menu ideas, and report food trends.
  • Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM's EarthView program.
  • Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Service banquets and in-house functions.
  • Work with Room Service staff to ensure excellent coverage and services.
