About The Position

The Director of Operations at AdventHealth DeLand is responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, leadership, and control of multiple departments within the organization. This role involves strategic planning to enhance the patient, visitor, and employee experience while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Director will work closely with managers to foster a positive work environment and high performance, ultimately contributing to the mission of AdventHealth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a health-related discipline.
• Director-level leadership experience for a minimum of 3-5 years or completion of AdventHealth Management Residency Program with one year of post-residency leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, organizing, leading, and controlling departments under their purview.
• Work with various managers to accomplish required services from different teams and departments.
• Provide leadership in strategic planning to enhance patient, visitor, and employee experiences.
• Support and develop managers, ensuring clarity of purpose and mission for the team.
• Create a work environment that promotes positive team engagement and high performance.
• Lead the team by creating a shared vision and facilitating a culture of transparency and engagement.
• Organize processes for service provision across departments to meet organizational goals.
