About The Position
The Director of Operations, as a Senior Member of Management, is responsible for directing the operations of the entire plant, including but not limited to production / planning, blending, juice operations, inventory management and is responsible for a safe, profitable operation. Will utilize operational metrics to analyze productivity, identify issues, and set performance targets to achieve production goals. Implements plant safety and security inspections, auditing, and training procedures to meet required regulations. Oversees staffing and development of all production supervisors. The role requires outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills and an ability to develop innovative solutions that push boundaries. The Director of Operations will work closely with executives to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for FruitSmart.
