The Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) is one of the vital EOHHS agencies and its mission is to help low-income individual, and families meet their basic needs, improve their quality of life and achieve long-term economic self-sufficiency. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is seeking an exceptional individual to join the Executive Office of Health and Human Services Information Technology (EOHHS IT) Team as the Director of Operations Management – Department of Transitional Assistance Information Technology (DTA IT). The Director of Operations Management – DTA IT will report directly to the Assistant Chief Information Officer (ACIO) for DTA and will oversee and supervise the technology team at DTA IT, lead in the creation and implementation of technology roadmaps, and manage the enterprise systems for DTA. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled and visible team within the Executive Office of Health and Human Services. The Director of Operations Management – DTA IT will work with the ACIO to meet the technology service needs for DTA and will manage technical professionals including Software Developers, Architects, Database Administrators and Application delivery staff who are responsible for the maintenance and operations of systems within DTA IT. They will interact with multiple subject matter experts, software vendors, and EOHHS leadership staff to ensure the successful coordination of IT activities and operations. Additionally, they will support cross-functional projects and initiatives with multiple internal and external stakeholders. This will actively participate with the information technology governance processes and provide strategic and technology leadership to ensure agency initiatives are delivered successfully, sustained operationally, and that information technology efforts continue to meet evolving business needs. The primary work location for this role will be at One Ashburton Place, Boston, Massachusetts 02108. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. This position would be expected to follow a hybrid model of reporting to work that combines in-office workdays and work from home days as needed.
