The Director of Operations and Maintenance for Health Sciences provides leadership for the operation and management of health sciences facilities. The Director oversees the Assistant Directors in Operations and Maintenance for Health Sciences. Activities include inspection, testing, and maintenance of existing facilities, infrastructure, and grounds for Health Sciences. The Director will be responsible for formulating policies, working closely with the Associate Vice President (AVP) for Campus Operations & Maintenance (COM), as well as preparing, presenting, and defending briefs, point papers, and decision memorandums. The successful incumbent must be an effective communicator with excellent written and oral communication and decision-making skills. Must have exceptional presentation skills. The Director shall also collaborate with all building managers throughout Health Sciences, providing recommendations, such as best practices, changes to policies and procedures, as well as other guidance and support.
