We are currently seeking a Director of Operational Supports who will provide strategic and operational oversight of services, employees, and external stakeholders. This leader plays a critical role in strengthening systems, supporting frontline teams, and ensuring the highest quality experience for both employees and individuals served. This role requires a leader-to-leader mentality; someone who empowers direct reports, builds strong partnerships, and contributes meaningfully to the overall success of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in gradual advanced positions with leadership scope required.
  • Experience working with IDD communities in a residential setting required, multiple settings a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with frequent travel to multiple sites in PA required.
  • Proven track record in organizational change and/or in turn-around management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain healthy and meaningful work relationships with staff at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead effective teams, utilize collaboration, and motivate staff.
  • Proven experience in program leadership and evaluation in the human services field.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and to work independently
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present and speak publicly on relevant issues

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of the Humanity scheduling system strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement efficient processes to support day-to-day operations, including oversight of existing programs and new service innovations.
  • Partner with government agencies, funders, and community organizations to promote collaboration and shared success.
  • Participate in cross-organizational initiatives to support mutually beneficial policy development and advocacy efforts.
  • Build, lead, and sustain a high-performing team across departmental staff, community collaborative leaders, and Shared and Support Services.
  • Collaborate in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans
  • Drive achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and departmental goals to optimize operational performance and service quality.
  • Oversee regional budgets, including monitoring revenue and expenses to ensure fiscal accountability and sustainability.
  • Develop and execute implementation plans in response to new regulatory, funding, or operational requirements.
  • Utilize structured decision-making and accountability tools such as the RACI Matrix and process mapping methodologies.
  • Apply effective management tools and practices, including Effective Meeting Management and Charting the LifeCourse framework.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
