About The Position

As the Director of Nursing at Recovery Works Columbus, a member of the Pinnacle Treatment Centers network, you will lead the clinical team in providing exceptional care for individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This role involves developing, planning, and managing all aspects of the nursing team, providing leadership and guidance to optimize patient care and achieve organizational goals within a Detox, Residential, and Ambulatory (DR&A) setting.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a full, unencumbered license in the state of Ohio.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • At least two (2) years of management experience leading a nursing team.
  • Working knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office Applications.
  • A commitment to Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Ethics.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years of experience in chemical addiction or mental health disorders, including psych pharmacotherapy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct oversight and management of the nursing team and medical care processes.
  • Ensure all nursing services meet established standards, regulations, and credentialing requirements.
  • Serve as the Health and Safety Officer and maintain compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and other governing bodies.
  • Partner with the leadership team to implement orientation and annual training curriculum for teammates.
  • Lead monthly nursing department meetings and participate in clinical and strategic planning sessions.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the Quality Improvement Plan and ensuring overall policy compliance.
