Requirements

  • RN license in Washington State or eligibility to obtain.
  • Proven leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic skills.
  • Passion for person-centered care and continuous improvement.
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred.
  • Valid RN license in the state employed
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 3-5 years successful experience as a Director of Nursing or equivalent position in long-term care facility preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead nursing operations and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Oversee staffing, recruitment, and retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external partners.
  • Drive performance improvement and manage adverse events.
  • Participate in budget planning and serve as MDS coordinator.
  • Promote education and clinical competency across the team.
