Responsible for the oversight, management and regulatory compliance of nursing and nursing support services delivered at Granite County Medical Center and Drummond Clinic. Oversees staffing requirements, staffing education, onboarding and clinical quality of care to align with best practices. Ensures all nursing staff are operating within scope of practice and that all licensure and required certifications are keep up to date. Excellent communication, supervisory, and management skills required. Ability to work well under pressure, establish priorities and adapt to change. Ability to work with patients of all ages including elderly patient in long-term care and patients in the emergency department. A self-motivated, creative, and positive personality. Ability to work with staff, family members, and community. Possess patience, good organizational skills, assertiveness, and be a conscientious person. Present a professional appearance. Be available for training, including overnight out of town events. Be flexible in working hours so that weekend or evening events may be provided and care can be provided safety at all times. This is an onsite position
