About The Position

Kingsway Arms Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing with exceptional leadership skills to inspire, develop, and support a high-performing nursing team. Requirements

  • Current New York State RN license.
  • Significant leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing (DON/ADON preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in quality improvement, staff development, and resident-centered care.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and survey processes.
  • Data-driven leader with the ability to translate metrics into action.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and unit leaders to foster a collaborative, accountable, and respectful work environment.
  • Promote strong intradepartmental and interdepartmental communication through hands-on leadership.
  • Lead QAPI and Performance Improvement initiatives using clinical data, audits, and outcome measures.
  • Analyze trends and implement sustainable improvements in clinical outcomes, survey performance, and resident and family satisfaction.
  • Use satisfaction feedback to guide service improvements and enhance the resident experience.
  • Address resident and family concerns promptly using a data-informed, solution-focused approach.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing care.
  • Lead preparation for regulatory surveys, audits, and corrective action planning.
