Requirements
- License: Active RN License and BLS certification
- Education: Prefer a master’s degree in nursing preferably with a background in mental health, but must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Experience: Healthcare management experience preferred. At least five years progressive acute care, and 5 years behavioral health experience preferably with children or adolescents. Proficient in Joint Commission standards.

Responsibilities
- Supervising all nursing staff.
- Overseeing nursing budgets.
- Reporting to higher management in the healthcare facility.
- Maintains high standards of care for all patients.
- Managing patients’ data and medical records as confidential records.
- Communicating with medical staff, patients, and family members about patient health.
- Recruiting, training, and onboarding new nursing staff.
- Providing ongoing education classes.
- Implementing new procedures and training for nurses regarding performance improvement initiatives or revised policies.
- Overseeing the therapeutic milieu.
- Planning and implementing nursing performance improvement program in conjunction with medical director.
