About The Position

This position is a member of the Executive Management Team and is responsible for directing, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating efficiency of operations of patient care services while ensuring safe, efficient, quality care. Collaborates with the senior leadership team, Board of Trustees, medical staff, community leaders, and other institutions to improve overall health and quality of life for the populations served. Requirements

Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years’ leadership experience required.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, within 6 months of hire.
Current TNCC or ENPC, STABLE, and NRP within 12 months of hire.
Relevant and working knowledge of the health care environment, health care reform, and care delivery systems as they apply to clinical practices of the facility.
Knowledge of critical access and rural healthcare systems.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Organizes, directs, and administers the Nursing/Patient Care Services in order to provide the level of care required by current medical and nursing standards.

Guides and oversees completion of annual goal setting, development, implementation, and monitoring of a strategic plan for nursing, which reflects Logan Health’s current and anticipated strategic priorities.

Analyzes and responds to employee turnover taking appropriate steps to maintain high employee morale and satisfaction.

Oversees departments budgets, special projects, and capital budget for nursing in assigned area(s).
Assesses opportunities for new revenue streams.
Assists with covering shifts or assisting with fluctuation of census.
