Requirements
- A graduate of an accredited program for registered nurses
- Current unencumbered Pennsylvania State license to practice as a Registered Nurse required
- Current CPR/AED certification
- A passions for serving older adults
- A minimum of five (5) years experience in related positions normally required.
Nice To Haves
- BS in Nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensures that the Department complies with all regulatory requirements; takes appropriate actions to respond to and correct any deficiencies resulting from regulatory surveys and inspections.
- Meets and communicates with resident family members, resident representatives, and residents clergy as needed or required.
- In consultation with the Medical Director, monitors the performance of all non-agency medical providers, providing on-site services to insure these individuals are providing the proper level of care in compliance with all appropriate Agency and regulatory requirements.
- Manages the Nursing Department, participates in the development and maintenance of a nursing services program
