About The Position

Comprehensive Healthcare provides innovative behavioral health and integrated healthcare services to clients of all ages, fostering a creative and collaborative work environment and delivering clinically excellent, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services. The Director of Nursing leads the planning, coordination, and oversight of nursing services across the agency. This role is responsible for establishing consistent standards of care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting a high-performing nursing workforce. By partnering with clinical and operational leaders, the Director ensures nursing services are effectively integrated, appropriately staffed, and aligned with organizational goals. The Director of Nursing provides clinical and operational leadership for all nursing functions, ensuring high-quality nursing practice that aligns with organizational strategy, regulatory standards, and CHC’s mission and values. The position bridges clinical excellence with operational performance, guiding nursing strategy to ensure consistent standards, compliance, and integration across all service lines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive nursing experience
  • At least 3–5 years in a leadership role

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, or related field)
  • Experience in behavioral health, inpatient, or multi-site healthcare environments
