The College of Health Sciences at Glenville State University is seeking qualified candidates for Director of Nursing, a tenure-track position with faculty rank commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Dean of Health Sciences and Provost of Academic Affairs to develop an accredited associate degree nursing program. The university recently completed 8500 square feet of space dedicated for nursing education which includes four offices, two classrooms, and two clinical laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art high-fidelity manikins. The development of an RN to BSN program will be investigated after the ASN program has been established. The Director will assume responsibility for the overall implementation of the nursing program and will be required to teach a percentage of nursing coursework based on their area of expertise and clinical experiences. The Director will report directly to the Dean of the College of Health Sciences.
