About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the highest level of care is provided to our residents. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team. You will provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality care, and conduct regular assessments of resident needs to develop individualized care plans. Additionally, you will monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated care, and review documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulations. It is essential to ensure that resident rights are respected and upheld while staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. You will also manage staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage, which is crucial for maintaining the quality of care provided to our residents.
