About The Position

Provides administrative leadership for the Telemetry Medicine Unit for care of hospitalized patients. The Director supports the daily clinical operations and a team of outstanding frontline clinicians. The Director serves as a role model for customer service, quality, best practice, and innovation. He/she is accountable for the delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient care of patients on a 24-hour basis.

Requirements

• Current LA RN licensure.
• Five (5) years clinical experience in the care of hospitalized patients, plus two (2) years of progressive management experience which may include Charge Nurse and/or Supervisory roles.
• Current BLS and ALS certifications through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross. The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off.

Nice To Haves

• BSN and MSN degrees or related field is preferred.
• RN-BC preferred.
• Preferred experience for this position includes: Care of telemetry and medicine hospitalized patients.
