Position Summary: The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall management, leadership, and clinical direction of the nursing department, ensuring high-quality resident care and compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license (required)
- Previous experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with survey management and quality improvement
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing operations
- Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Health and CMS regulations
- Lead survey readiness, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives
- Mentor, train, and support nursing leadership and staff
- Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and clinical competency
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and resident-centered care
