About The Position
Beacham Memorial/Freedom Behavioral Hospital, located in Magnolia, MS is currently accepting resumes for the Director of Nurses (DON) NOTE: this position is currently filled. However, it is the policy of Freedom Behavioral to continue to take applications so that we can ensure there is no disruption in patient care if a vacancy occurs. This full-time position will report to the hospital CEO and is responsible for upholding the standards of care established by regulatory and accrediting bodies. The DON will provide oversight and direction to all direct care nursing staff and ensure the units are staffed safety and according to protocol. Requirements
- Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing minimum, with MSN oversight.
- RN License through the state board of nursing
- ACLS Certified
- One-year management or related experience in nursing
Responsibilities
- Upholding the standards of care established by regulatory and accrediting bodies.
- Provide oversight and direction to all direct care nursing staff
