You will:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Active RN license in the state required
  • Minimum 3 years RN experience (6+ years preferred)
  • Behavioral health nursing experience: 1 year required (inpatient, outpatient, psychiatric, addiction recovery, or related)
  • 2 years of progressive leadership or management experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior DON or Nurse Manager experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage nursing operations across detox, residential, and outpatient levels of care
  • Mentor and develop nurse leaders and direct-care staff
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with TJC, CMS, state licensing, and accreditation standards (including OTP, DEA, and state mental health/health department certifications) [recovered.org]
  • Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and budget stewardship
  • Strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration across medical, clinical, and therapeutic teams
  • Monitor patient outcomes and drive continuous quality improvement
  • Contribute to executive decision‑making and support long-range clinical planning
