Director of Nursing Opportunity Alabama Clinical Schools has been a behavioral healthcare provider in the Birmingham area for over 20 years. Our treatment services range from intensive residential treatment for males ages 9-18 to therapeutic foster care for males and females of all ages. Our RISE and Specialized Therapeutic Foster Care programs for boys are the only programs of their kind in the State of Alabama. Visit us online at: https://alabamaclinicalschools.com/ The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the day to day oversight and coordination of all aspects of inpatient and outpatient Nursing Services in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations as well as facility policy and procedure. The DON is a key member of the Alabama Clinical Schools Leadership Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric nursing strategy with a hands-on approach and keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. Requirements

Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing; ASN required, MSN preferred.
Current RN licensure in the State of Alabama.
Five (5) years psychiatric nursing experience and supervisory experience required.
