About Sabal Palms Recovery Center Sabal Palms provides trauma‑informed, individualized care delivered by a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, dietitians, and behavioral health professionals. Our campus offers a peaceful, wooded setting with nature trails, a lake, pool, and recreational areas—ideal for healing and self‑reflection. We support adults with addictions to opioids, alcohol, benzodiazepines, stimulants, and more, as well as co‑occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and other mental health concerns. Your Impact as Director of Nursing As the Director of Nursing, you will guide and support our clinical nursing team to ensure safe, high‑quality, patient‑centered care throughout our detox and residential programs. You’ll foster a positive, growth‑oriented environment while upholding regulatory compliance and clinical best practices. Requirements
- Active RN License (FL or eligible for reciprocity)
- Proven Nursing Leadership (DON, ADON, Nurse Manager, or equivalent)
- Behavioral Health Experience in an inpatient psychiatric or residential setting (required)
- 5+ years RN experience
- 2–3+ years progressive nursing management
- 1–2+ years behavioral health RN experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- MSN or mental health nursing specialty preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and day‑to‑day leadership for all nursing operations
- Oversee clinical quality, safety, and performance improvement
- Support individualized treatment planning and continuity of care
