Pay $105,000 - $123,000 a year Job type Full-time Shift and schedule Monday to Friday Full job description Job Summary The Director of Nursing is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position requires a dynamic individual with extensive knowledge in nursing administration, and ASC. The Director will manage nursing operations, develop care plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a collaborative environment among healthcare professionals. Must be able to circulate, pre-op, OR and recovery. Duties Supervise and manage nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care for a small (two OR) surgery center. Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans based on patient assessments. Experience in pre-op, recovery and OR circulation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline healthcare processes. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while promoting best practices in nursing management. Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional development and growth. Monitor patient care quality metrics and implement improvement strategies as needed. Utilize knowledge of physiology to inform clinical decision-making and enhance patient education. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license with a valid state certification. Proven experience in nurse management within ASC cosmetic and pain management. Minimum 3 years experience, one year will be considered base on knowledge. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of patient care & ASC principles is preferred but not required. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, staff and doctors. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
