About The Position

As a Director of Mid-Market Sales at Jasper, you will lead the development and scaling of our Mid-Market sales team, driving significant market growth. At Jasper, we define Mid-Market as companies with 200-2,000 employees. In collaboration with other leaders, you will shape and expand Jasper's product and business strategies, setting a clear vision for the organization. Your role will involve cultivating a culture of excellence, nurturing leadership, and inspiring innovation within your team, with a strong emphasis on mentoring, managing, and developing sales professionals. This fully remote role reports to the VP of MM & SMB Sales and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a focus on Mid-Market. Leadership within AI-related, mar-tech, or technical fields is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and developing a team of sales professionals focusing on value selling and hands-on coaching.
  • A high-performing sales manager with a proven track record of consistently exceeding established measurements for goals and objectives.
  • A skilled motivator with demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and retain sales staff to exceed targeted sales objectives and deliver high-quality service to customers.
  • Proven ability to manage both direct and indirect employees in a vastly evolving organization.
  • Strong understanding of the AI industry and the application of AI in sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate, inspire, and mentor a Mid-Market Sales team to consistently exceed sales targets.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of sales professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring their success.
  • Collaboratively contribute to sales management and strategies across all segments, specifically optimizing approaches for the Mid-Market space.
  • Optimize and improve sales motions in the Mid-Market space, leveraging data and AI-driven insights to inform judgment.
  • Create and enhance outbound activities to drive pipeline growth within the Mid-Market segment.
  • Prioritize new and existing leads flow through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest, utilizing AI tools where beneficial.
  • Identify and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent success across all members of the team.
  • Reinforce consistent usage and adoption of sales productivity tools such as SFDC and Gong, and explore new AI-powered sales enablement tools.
  • Foster a customer-centric, consultative approach with our customers to ensure a best-in-class experience from start to finish.
  • Collaborate in a fast-paced environment with multiple internal and external teams, actively contributing to Jasper’s position as an AI industry leader.
