About The Position
The Director of Memory Care (MC) is responsible for the active engagement of residents living with dementia. The purpose of the job is to create a daily flow of resident life that includes personal care, recreational and social activities, lead focused and purpose-driven activities with the support of memory care specialists, facilitate meaningful social interactions and roles, and help each resident feel a sense of belonging to a community. The role also involves ensuring resident living spaces are optimized for the memory care environment, involving resident family members and the community in the life of the campus, and training staff members in their memory care related roles.
