About The Position

The Nursing Department Director is the designated leader for the Med/Surg unit. Position is responsible for the patient population and assigned staff. The Nursing Director plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the Nursing unit activities. Position provides direction, support and guidance to the Nursing staff and aids in their professional development. Position is responsible for 24-hour accountability. Population Served: Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients with acute and chronic conditions/diagnosis requiring medical intervention.

Requirements

• RN License for the State of Louisiana

Responsibilities
