About The Position

The Facility Director of Medical Staff Services will facilitate implementation of and compliance with credentialing initiatives/processes at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital and HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital . The incumbent is expected to maintain a working knowledge of applicable HCA Healthcare and Parallon Credentialing Processing Center (CPC) policies, accreditation standards and regulations associated with medical staff services, and play a key role in the integration of HCA Clinical Strat egies and HCA systems . On-site time will be divided equally between the two facilities .

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business, or related field of study or an equivalent combination of training and experience, required
  • Minimum of 5 years comprehensive credentialing experience in an acute care hospital or CVO setting
  • Certified Professional Medical Services Management and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist, required or to be obtained within 1 year of start date
