About The Position
We are seeking a(an) Director of Medical Staff Services with HCA Florida JFK North Hospital to promote growth and unlock possibilities. The Director of Medical Staff Services is responsible for the coordination of all medical staff office activities related to the process of physician credentialing, appointment and reappointment to the medical staff. Responsible and accountable for the accuracy and completeness of physician files, and the medical staff minutes in accordance with Joint Commission Standards and Florida Statutes. Possesses knowledge of the requirements for Medical Staff Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations, and is knowledgeable regarding the Division Rules and Regulations and Joint Commission Standards. Acts as a liaison between the medical staff and Administration within the parameters established by the CEO, VP of Quality Standards and Officers of the Medical Staff. Is responsible for the supervision and direction of the Medical Staff Secretary.
