About The Position

The Director of Medical Products will build a medical business from the ground up, leveraging the Pod platform to detect medical conditions and provide therapy. This role involves navigating regulatory and reimbursement pathways, interfacing with payers, and collaborating closely with R&D, the executive team, and the CEO. The work will improve users' lives and contribute to the core mission of improving sleep and saving lives. The company emphasizes a high-standards, no-apologies culture, expecting intense focus and extra effort to deliver without compromise. This role is based out of offices in San Francisco, Boston, or New York.

Requirements

• 6+ years of industry experience in medical devices (hardware or SaMD)
• Successful track record of FDA clearance (510k, De Novo)
• Successfully launched a reimbursable medical device
• Exemplary at cross-functional program management
• Experience with product development
• Experience building a world class team
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Build a medical business from 0 to 1
• Strategically navigate regulatory & reimbursement pathways
• Rapidly prototype and test business ideas
• Manage a cross-functional program involving R&D, Engineering, Regulatory, and Quality
• Coordinate with engineering teams to commercialize hardware and software products
