Requirements

  • Knowledge and principles that relate to all aspects of medical clinics
  • Aptitude in verbal and written communication
  • Possession of a baccalaureate degree and education in a field that relates to healthcare
  • At least 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Possession of United States proof of citizenship or right to work in the United States
  • Possession of a driver license or analogous identification
  • Willingness to participate in Hospital orientation and educational in-service

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of Hospital-affiliated Medical Clinics
  • Coordinate Medical Clinics continuity, including contracting, credentialing, and fee structure
  • Organize, implement, and oversee Medical Clinics Performance Improvement activity, including identification of improvement opportunities, development of improvement strategies, and application of such strategies.
  • Scrutinize and improve Medical Clinics patient satisfaction
  • Oversee implementation and use of the Medical Clinics health information management system
  • Develop orientation programs for new Medical Clinics staff members
  • Manage Medical Clinics staff member human resource issues
  • Oversee initiation and development of new Medical Clinic locations
  • Demonstrate ability to educate others about pertinent patient care issues
  • Recognize how service area relates to healthcare generally, and coordinate activity within own Department with that of other Hospital Departments
  • Perform other duties assigned by CEO
