Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with 5 years in Property & Casualty insurance preferred
  • Strong understanding of independent agency distribution and regional carrier dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, brand management, and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a lean, collaborative, and fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience with marketing analytics tools, CRM systems, Microsoft Office products, and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Agency Engagement, Distribution Growth, & Customer Experience Accountable for expanding and strengthening independent agency and captive distribution channels to drive profitable production and retention.
  • Build and manage strategic agency relationships
  • Lead onboarding, training, and engagement initiatives
  • Develop territory-level growth plans aligned with profitability goals
  • Improve agent tools, communications, and overall experience
  • Develop educational content for both agents and policyholders to enhance experience
  • Monitor agency performance and collaborate cross-functionally to improve outcomes
  • Marketing Strategy & Market Intelligence Accountable for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with corporate growth, retention, and profitability objectives.
  • Lead annual marketing strategy and planning
  • Identify expansion opportunities (geographic, product, segment)
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis
  • Provide insights to Product, Underwriting, and Actuarial teams
  • Represent marketing in executive strategy discussions
  • Brand, Communication, and Market Presence Accountable for strengthening brand positioning and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Oversee brand strategy and visual identity
  • Lead digital marketing, SEO, and social presence
  • Manage public relations and reputation initiatives
  • Ensure brand consistency across agent and customer communications
  • Product Marketing & Go-to Market Leadership Accountable for translating product strategy into compelling market positioning and successful launches.
  • Develop product positioning and value propositions
  • Lead go-to-market execution for new products and expansions
  • Create sales enablement and agent support materials
  • Ensure market feedback informs product evolution
  • Campaign Management & Lead Generation Accountable for driving measurable new business growth and retention through integrated marketing programs.
  • Plan and execute multichannel campaigns
  • Lead agent co-marketing and lead generation programs
  • Support events and industry engagement
  • Track performance and optimize based on ROI
  • Marketing Operations & Team Leadership Accountable for building marketing infrastructure, measurement discipline, and team effectiveness.
  • Establish KPIs and executive reporting cadence
  • Use data to analyze and refine segmentation and targeting
  • Manage budget, vendors, and agency partners
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team to foster creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration
