We are seeking a visionary and results-driven marketing leader to lead our end-to-end marketing strategy, ensuring consistent brand expression and measurable growth across patient and provider segments JOB TITLE: Director of Marketing Strategy & Customer Engagement GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: United Digestive’s Director of Marketing Strategy & Customer Engagement is responsible for setting the creative direction of the brand, overseeing all internal and external communications, and leading the Marketing Support Center that serves as a strategic partner to internal departments. The ideal candidate blends creativity with analytical rigor and has deep experience in both digital marketing and account-based strategies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including brand management, digital strategy, and communications.
  • Proven track record in patient acquisition, preferably in healthcare or service industries.
  • Experience with ABM platforms, CRM systems, and performance analytics tools.
  • Strong creative sensibility with the ability to translate business objectives into compelling campaigns.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Brand & Creative Direction • Own and evolve the brand identity, voice, and positioning across all touchpoints.
  • Lead concept development for creative campaigns, patient education materials, and brand storytelling efforts.
  • Ensure brand consistency across internal initiatives, patient experiences, and market-facing assets.
  • Patient Acquisition & Digital Marketing • Develop and optimize digital marketing campaigns to drive patient acquisition and service line growth.
  • Oversee paid media strategy, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and conversion optimization.
  • Use data to continuously test, refine, and scale campaigns based on performance.
  • Provider Marketing & ABM • Design and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies to engage referring physicians and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Partner with field teams to identify target segments and develop tailored content that drives referrals and builds brand trust.
  • Internal Communications & Marketing Support • Lead all internal communications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering employee engagement.
  • Oversee the Marketing Support Center, serving as a responsive partner to HR, operations, and clinical departments.
  • Provide strategic marketing counsel and execution support to cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership & Collaboration • Manage a multidisciplinary team of marketers, designers, and writers.
  • Partner closely with clinical, IT, operations, and business development teams to align marketing with enterprise priorities.
  • Report on KPIs to executive leadership, ensuring visibility into marketing ROI and growth impact.
