About The Position

The Director of Marketing & Sales is responsible for leading all marketing, communications, sales, and event strategies at the property level to drive attendance, revenue, and brand growth. This role translates enterprise strategy into localized execution while ensuring alignment between brand promise and the guest experience. As a key member of the park leadership team, the Director partners closely with Operations and Corporate Marketing to deliver results, elevate the guest experience, and support long-term growth across the Enchanted Parks portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in marketing, sales, or related leadership roles
  • Proven track record of driving attendance growth, revenue performance, and brand development
  • Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in analytics, reporting, and performance optimization
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills

  • Experience in amusement parks, hospitality, resorts, or tourism industries preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-driven marketing and sales strategy to increase attendance, revenue, and market share across key regional and drive markets.
  • Lead all marketing functions including advertising, digital, social media, communications, public relations, and promotions
  • Oversee corporate, group, and youth sales strategies to grow bookings, events, and long-term partnerships
  • Plan and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns that build awareness, generate demand, and drive visitation and repeat attendance
  • Champion the brand at the property level, ensuring consistency across all guest touchpoints including digital platforms, advertising, and in-park messaging
  • Develop and implement guest lifecycle strategies, including season pass programs, loyalty initiatives, and personalized communications
  • Lead public relations and community engagement efforts to strengthen brand reputation and local presence
  • Oversee the development, marketing, and performance of seasonal events and special programming to drive incremental attendance and extend the operating calendar
  • Utilize data, analytics, and market research to evaluate performance, optimize campaigns, and improve ROI and guest satisfaction
  • Partner with park operations and leadership teams to align marketing initiatives with operational delivery and overall guest experience
  • Provide strategic input on pricing, promotions, and revenue-generating channels to maximize conversion and profitability
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership to support new attractions, offerings, and guest experience enhancements based on market trends and insights
  • Oversee marketing and revenue strategies for any on-site lodging and accommodations, including resorts, campgrounds, and related offerings, to drive overnight visitation, length of stay, and incremental revenue growth
  • Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams across marketing, sales, and events
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
