About The Position

The Director of Marketing & Communications is a senior leader responsible for shaping and executing the company’s brand, acquisition marketing, and communications strategy. This role oversees brand positioning, demand generation, social media, and storytelling across all channels. The ideal candidate blends strategic vision with hands-on execution and can lead people and contractors. This role is central to how the company shows up in the market, attracts customers, and tells its story—internally and externally. The Director of Marketing & Communications will help shape the next chapter of growth while building a brand and team that reflect the company’s values and long-term vision. This position is based in Fayetteville, AR.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Proven success leading brand and acquisition marketing initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content strategy.
  • Experience managing teams and developing talent.
  • Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at a high level.
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort analyzing performance and making informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the company’s brand strategy, voice, and visual identity across all platforms.
  • Lead internal and external communications to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with company values.
  • Develop compelling narratives that reflect the company’s mission, culture, and growth initiatives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to support major announcements, initiatives, and reputation management.
  • Lead acquisition marketing strategy to drive awareness, leads, and customer growth across digital and traditional channels.
  • Oversee campaign development, performance tracking, and optimization to ensure measurable ROI.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and leadership to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Manage marketing budgets, forecasting, and vendor relationships.
  • Set strategy and direction for social media, ensuring platforms support both brand and acquisition goals.
  • Oversee content planning, execution, and engagement.
  • Monitor trends, analytics, and platform performance to continuously refine strategy.
  • Understand and maximize SEO.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a growing marketing and communications team.
  • Establish clear goals, roles, and development paths for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and creative team culture.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management to support professional growth.
  • Other duties as assigned
