About The Position

Precise Software Solutions is seeking a Director of Marketing & Communications to lead corporate messaging, solution positioning, and strategic communications in support of growth across Federal Health and Civilian markets. This role is responsible for translating Precise’s capabilities, past performance, and innovation into clear, differentiated, and reusable solution narratives that support pipeline development, opportunity shaping, and proposal efforts. The Director will work closely with business development, capture, solution architects, and proposal teams to ensure consistent, compelling messaging across the full growth lifecycle. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role in a fast-paced GovCon environment with no direct reports.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years in marketing, communications, or growth support within federal GovCon
  • Experience supporting BD, capture, and proposals
  • Strong ability to translate technical solutions into clear, compelling narratives
  • Experience developing marketing materials and managing digital communications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting companies in the $50M–$300M GovCon market
  • Familiarity with Federal Health agencies such as FDA, CMS, HHS, or related organizations
  • Experience coordinating with proposal teams and graphic design resources

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain solution narratives that package capabilities (e.g., AI-enabled modernization, hybrid cloud, DevSecOps) into clear, differentiated offerings
  • Build and manage a library of reusable solution content (briefs, white papers, visuals) for BD, capture, and proposals.
  • Support priority accounts and top deals with targeted messaging, customer-facing materials, and competitive positioning
  • Develop content for early-stage opportunity shaping, executive briefings, and customer engagement
  • Align marketing efforts to pipeline priorities and account strategies
  • Manage company participation in industry events, conferences, and associations (e.g., ACT-IAC, AFCEA, PSC, etc)
  • Develop marketing materials related to industry events and conferences
  • Coordinate and plan speaking opportunities, thought leadership content, and industry engagement for company executives
  • Support strategic marketing campaigns tied to priority growth initiatives
  • Maintain consistent corporate messaging across website, proposals, and marketing materials
  • Manage participation in industry events (e.g., ACT-IAC, AFCEA) and support thought leadership
  • Oversee digital presence (website, LinkedIn, announcements)
  • Support executive communications to employees related to company initiatives, strategy updates, and key announcements. Requisition Form
