Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Marketing, Communications, Public Relations and /or sales from an accredited educational institution preferred.
  • Three years experience in a related field.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with people of all backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Support of Luther Park Community’s mission, vision and core values.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment physical.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Design marketing materials as needed.
  • Manage development and production of printed marketing materials, including the Luther Park calendar, to ensure compliance with brand standards and organizational goals.
  • Regularly review and update the Luther Park Community website.
  • Utilize social media and digital advertising to reach target audiences.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with networking groups and referral sources including hospitals, other long-term care facilities, agencies, senior centers and others.
  • Provide leadership to Luther Park’s participation in community events such as fundraising walks and senior health fairs.
  • Conduct tours in the Luther Park Apartments and Rose Glen.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) module of PointClickCare, as well as Yardi for Independent Living, to track leads for prospective residents from the point of first contact through admission.
  • Plan and conduct events as necessary with department directors.
  • Create and nurture a base of volunteers to support fundraising initiatives at Luther Park.
  • Develop a case for support to communicate fundraising priorities to prospective donors.
  • Create a culture of philanthropy at Luther Park through ongoing and consistent messaging through various communication channels.
  • Oversee Independent Living Operations and assist with Day-to-Day tasks if necessary.
  • Review resident issues such as: Resident complaints, Resident safety issues, Non-payment of rent, lease violations, 7-Day notices, eviction process, and more with the Executive Director of Marketing and Senior Living.
  • Support the Independent Living staff in budget management and oversee spending.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director of Marketing and Senior Living on execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Facilities as necessary on building maintenance projects and/or issues.
  • Communicate with residents on property related matters.
  • Facilitate monthly resident meetings.
