About The Position

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Director of Marketing and Communications to join our creative team. This key leadership role involves implementing, monitoring, and evaluating our marketing communications strategy, which encompasses advertising, promotions, and public relations to support the organization's objectives. The Director will creatively execute marketing and communications campaigns while managing and inspiring a team of creatives, including a digital marketing specialist and a visual communications specialist. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams across the organization and engage a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to communicate the importance of the Damar mission. You will be responsible for supporting the marketing efforts of the organization through project management, writing, content creation, social media management, and tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs). Working closely with the creative team, you will manage all internal and external creative deadlines, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard. As the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration. You will conceptualize and execute multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and consumer lifecycle, ensuring alignment of communications and messaging across all channels. Additionally, you will work with advertising and media agencies to provide day-to-day support and execution of creative deliverables, while also identifying the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives through tracking and analysis, optimizing strategies accordingly.
