We are seeking a Director of Marketing who can translate our mission into enrollment growth, community demand, and sustained philanthropic support. This leader will build and operate a modern, AI‑enabled marketing engine that increases visibility, trust, and engagement across all campuses and programs. The Director of Marketing leads PSOE’s end‑to‑end growth engine—including student and family recruitment, donor acquisition, fundraising funnel development, and a proactive, AI‑driven marketing practice with a strong emphasis on SEO and GEO/AEO (Generative Engine Optimization / Answer Engine Optimization). This role owns both strategy and execution across channels to ensure PSOE remains highly visible, highly trusted, and easy to choose.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, including digital growth and campaign leadership.
  • Demonstrated success building acquisition pipelines (education enrollment experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong SEO expertise (technical, content, and authority building).
  • Proven ability to use AI tools and automation to improve quality, speed, and performance.
  • Comfort with CRM and lifecycle marketing systems; strong partnership skills with enrollment teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own a full‑funnel enrollment marketing strategy across web, paid media, email/SMS, events, community outreach, and partnerships.
  • Build and optimize campus‑specific and program‑specific campaigns that drive inquiries, tours, applications, and enrollments.
  • Partner with enrollment teams to ensure rapid lead follow‑up and consistent documentation (Salesforce workflows).
  • Improve conversion across inquiry forms, landing pages, tour scheduling, and follow‑up sequences.
  • Develop messaging that reflects PSOE’s differentiators and unique programming.
  • Design and manage donor acquisition funnels from prospecting to major‑gift pathways.
  • Build integrated campaigns across email, paid channels, content, events, and partner activations.
  • Strengthen stewardship communications, segmentation, and personalized donor journeys.
  • Build PSOE’s AI‑enabled marketing operating system, including: AI‑assisted content production with brand‑voice controls AI‑powered personalization for parent and donor journeys AI‑enabled experimentation and rapid test cycles Reduction of SaaS dependency through in‑house systems
  • Lead GEO/AEO strategy to ensure accurate representation in AI‑generated answers and local discovery.
  • Implement safe, compliant AI usage with clear review processes and privacy guardrails.
  • Own the SEO roadmap: technical health, site architecture, on‑page optimization, internal linking, and content strategy.
  • Build content that reflects PSOE’s programming, community model, and unique experiences.
  • Grow authority through digital PR, partnerships, and community‑aligned outreach.
  • Maintain brand standards across campuses and channels.
  • Oversee content calendars for web, social, email, video, newsletters, and storytelling.
  • Collaborate with school leaders to highlight academics, culture, student services, and outcomes.
  • Own marketing analytics and reporting (CAC, lead‑to‑tour, tour‑to‑application, donor conversion, LTV, etc.).
  • Ensure CRM and marketing systems support accurate attribution and follow‑up.
  • Build dashboards and reporting rhythms that drive action.
  • Lead and coach marketing staff; manage agencies and vendors as needed.
  • Collaborate across campuses and departments (enrollment, advancement, operations, school directors).
  • Communicate marketing strategy clearly to executive leadership and stakeholders.
