The Director of Market IT Service Delivery & Procurement is responsible for the delivery of IT services, project delivery & procurement in the Central Florida Division providing market IT leadership to the acute care facilities in the region and the corresponding physician practices & ambulatory locations. The Director of Market IT Service Delivery & Procurement reports to the Regional CIO of Central Florida and leads multiple site managers and their teams in an integrated IT organization, including application deployment and support, IT operations, knowledge and content management, project management and change management. The position serves as the senior project IT leader for major business and information technology transformation initiatives across the enterprise. In conjunction with the market and facility leadership team, The Director of Market IT Service Delivery & Procurement will provide region-wide business, clinical and technical leadership to our user community and promote an environment of engagement and communication between physicians, staff, hospital executive teams and leadership. The Director of Market IT Service Delivery & Procurement is also the primary liaison—managing needs and wants of their respective facilities and merging them with corporate wide initiatives and projects.

  • Manages the day-to-day operations, project delivery, and procurement of IT services across multiple facilities.
  • Leads IT procurement functions and project delivery for various locations.
  • Acts as a liaison between the IT department and regional business units to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develops and maintains relationships to understand and meet the IT needs of all customers.
  • Provides direction and management to IT personnel, ensuring effective utilization of resources.
  • Mentors and develops IT management teams to achieve strategic and operational goals.
  • Identifies and implements changes to improve customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Manages IT service management thresholds and addresses compliance issues.
  • Communicates and collaborates with clinical and business units to align IT services with business strategies.
  • Develops and monitors annual IT operating and capital budgets to ensure adequate funding.
  • Establishes and monitors project work plans, workflows, and procedures.
  • Assists in evaluating applications and equipment, and implements and tests pilot projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree Required
  • Master's degree Preferred
  • Strong understanding of both the operational and IT aspects of ambulatory care delivery, including system implementation, optimization, and alignment of technology with patient-centered care
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (CSSGB) Preferred
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) Preferred
