About The Position

This role is pivotal to the success of the facility in Norcross. As the Director of Manufacturing, you will have overall responsibility for the people and processes that run at Malvern, with direct accountability for Manufacturing and manufacturing Engineering. With this overall responsibility of course comes all the normal requirements for Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement and plan adherence, reporting into the Global Director Manufacturing and manufacturing Engineering. A degree of travel may be required but the key focus of this role will be the facility and effective management, coaching and leadership of the people there.

Requirements

• Strong manufacturing skills and experience.
• Clear and demonstrable lean experience.
• Strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Strong coaching skills and experience.
• Background in manufacturing roles with a strong lean bias.
• Understanding of assembly work and ideally machine shop experience.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the people and processes at the Norcross facility.
• Direct accountability for Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ensure adherence to Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement standards.
• Report to the Global Director of Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Manage, coach, and lead the manufacturing team.
