About The Position

Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is a leading provider of broadcast managed services. The Director of Managed Services Staffing will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development, operations, and execution of staffing and HR solutions within our Managed Services division, as well as serving as the Human Resource Manager. This role will lead workforce planning, recruiting, client relationship management, and delivery of high-quality staffing services to support our Enterprise client teams with a focus on broadcast, production, creative, and media. The Director will collaborate with senior leadership to align staffing operations with business goals, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and consistent service excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, managed services, or workforce solutions.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling staffing operations for enterprise-level clients.
  • Strong understanding of workforce management tools, HR systems, and service delivery models.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the staffing strategy for Managed Services, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client requirements.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize recruiting, workforce utilization, service delivery, and client satisfaction.
  • Anticipate industry trends and build innovative staffing models that support business growth.
  • Oversee daily staffing operations, including workforce scheduling, resource allocation, and performance management.
  • Establish KPIs, SLAs, and reporting mechanisms to measure efficiency, productivity, and client outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, client-specific regulations, and internal policies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their staffing needs are met effectively.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and partners to expand delivery capabilities and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective and high-quality staffing solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Act as executive sponsor for enterprise staffing clients.
  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities for additional managed services.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing staffing team, including managers, recruiters, and coordinators.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
  • Provide leadership training, development opportunities, and succession planning for team members.
  • Design and update job descriptions.
  • Manage employee benefit package and negotiate renewal rates.
  • Source candidates using online channels, job boards, and social media.
  • Screen resumes and applications.
  • Conduct interviews by phone, video, or in person.
  • Prepare and administer tests and evaluate candidates.
  • Provide hiring managers with a list of qualified candidates.
  • Negotiate job offers and answer questions about compensation and benefits.
  • Monitor metrics like time-to-fill and time-to-hire.
  • Help new hires get onboarded.
  • Build a strong employer brand by finding the right candidate for the job.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and employee relations counseling.
  • Work with managers to identify future hiring needs.
  • Travel to job fairs or visit universities to find top talent.
  • Implement HR-related tasks, processes, and projects to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive culture and make recommendations to ensure all talent policies and procedures are diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
  • Conduct offboarding activities, including exit interviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including USCIS Form I9 employment eligibility verification.
  • Maintain and update physical and digital files for employees’ documents, benefits, and attendance records.
  • Provide support to employees on various HR-related topics, such as leaves and compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise.
