About The Position

We’re looking for a dynamic Director of Maintenance to elevate maintenance operations across our multifamily portfolio. In this role, you’ll leverage your strong budgeting, project management, and vendor‑negotiation expertise, along with proven leadership and team‑development abilities, to drive consistent maintenance standards, streamline operations, and enhance the resident experience across all communities.

Requirements

• 5+ years in multifamily maintenance leadership
• HVAC, CPO Required
• Frequent travel to properties
• Ability to walk sites, climb stairs, access roofs/mechanical rooms
• Lift 45 lbs independently
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Lead & Innovate: Set maintenance standards, implement best practices, and guide operational strategy.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily maintenance activities, service quality, and turnaround efficiency.
• Budget & Capital Oversight: Manage budgets, forecast needs, and support capital planning.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all sites meet regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Vendor Management: Select, negotiate, and manage vendor partnerships and service contracts.
• Team Leadership: Develop, mentor, and support maintenance teams across multiple locations.
• Risk Reduction: Identify and resolve facility risks protecting assets and residents.
