About The Position

The Director of Logistics at Broan-NuTone is responsible for overseeing the North American Distribution Operation, focusing on strategy development, logistics, trade compliance, and international order fulfillment. This role involves leading a team to enhance customer satisfaction, meet revenue targets, and improve operational efficiencies within the logistics processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years in Logistics and/or Supply Chain experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or applicable business programs.
  • Master's degree is desired.
  • Prior financial acumen and proven knowledge in developing and leading Logistics teams.
  • Experience in managing Transportation Providers, 3PL Warehousing providers, or Third Parties.
  • Experience in managing inbound and outbound transportation.

  • Ability to speak French and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all plant and warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies in warehousing, distribution, and transportation.
  • Manage high-volume North American Distribution Centers, overseeing handling, storage, and distribution to the end consumer.
  • Design and implement distribution strategies to support international markets.
  • Coach and develop leaders and team members to meet strategic goals and objectives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators and service level agreements to improve distribution operations.
  • Develop relationships with key providers, negotiate rates and contracts, and develop service metrics with carriers and partners.
  • Communicate cost, service, and quality information regularly to the organization.
  • Identify variances and coordinate distribution and transportation management reviews for continuous improvement.
  • Understand import/export requirements and manage relationships with customs brokers.
  • Oversee the Trade and Environmental Compliance team and ensure C-TPAT Certification standards are maintained.
  • Set strategy to select and manage all 3PL partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with D.O.T. Hazardous Material regulations.
  • Create a high-performance culture focused on engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute the annual budget, including expense and capital budgeting, and operational execution.
  • Support Financial departments in month-end processes and cost-saving validation.
